Technical Support Engineer m/w

As Technical Support Engineer you are responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers and partners throughout the entire lifecycle of their experience with our services. You will serve customers and partners with diversified backgrounds - from the fastest growing startups, to traditional enterprise customers who are transitioning to a more modern infrastructure, to entirely new businesses embarking on a launch.

We’re looking for a colleague who loves to work in a cross functional team ideally with e-commerce experience. As you get started as Support Engineer, your colleagues will devote a large amount of time to briefing you and helping you gain a level of comfort and expertise with our services, and how we interact with our customers and partners.

We expect

  • programming skills in PHP, knowledge of API Integrations and checkout flow designs
  • strong knowledge of algorithms, understanding of different types of data structures
  • MySQL and database design skills
  • adherence to documentation standards is a must
  • you know your way around Linux, shell environments and service-oriented architectures
  • you have experience in software testing and software development
  • you to be empathetic, collaborative, communicative, consultative, confident and comfortable with customers as well as intellectually curious, with great problem-solving skills
  • be fluent in german and english and be comfortable talking about technical concepts
  • experience with customer-facing high-traffic web sites (nice to have)

Your Responsibilities

  • responding and serving to requests and issues independently as the primary, ongoing technical (first) point of contact for our customers and partners
  • supporting our management and our development teams in helping customers understand what is technically possible with our products.
  • cooperate with our support and our engineers and maintain suppport documentation
  • understanding customers and partner requirements and communicate how we can solve their business and technical challenges.
  • creating technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices and accompanying test and pilot installations

As a remuneration for your dedication and engagement, in a central located office with an motivated team and a good work atmosphere, we offer you, according to your experience and qualifications, a minimum of 42.000,00 EUR gross per year.
